FAQ

Planixia is construction management software for contractors, subcontractors and installers who work on a project basis. It brings crew and equipment scheduling, time tracking and daily reports from the site, and control of hours, costs and progress billing for each project into a single platform, so you can see the real margin while you can still act on it.

Planixia is built for companies that work by project with crews in the field: general contractors, subcontractors, installers working on new builds, solar or HVAC projects, and flooring and polished concrete companies. If your crews spend several days on each site and you need to track hours and costs per project, Planixia is a good fit.

Yes. Planixia works on smartphones and tablets. Workers clock in, fill in the daily report, check their schedule and update task status from their phone, on site. They can use it in the browser or install it on their home screen like an app.

Absolutely. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all communications, secure storage on certified servers, automatic daily backups and comply with the strictest data security standards. Your information is protected at all times.

Yes, with the Geo-Tagging feature enabled, the location is recorded when entering hours. It's not real-time tracking, but a point-in-time verification when clocking in. Coordinates are visible in the hours report and the feature is configurable per company (enable/disable).

Employees can clock in and out from their phone. Supervisors can review and approve logged hours, and the system automatically calculates overtime.

Yes. Hours worked reports can be exported to multi-sheet Excel, organized by employee, project and date. This feature is included in the Professional and Business plans, and is ideal for payroll or for sharing with your accountant.

Yes. With the month close, Planixia calculates ordinary, overtime, night and holiday hours, allowances, mileage and leaves per employee. You review them, close the month so those hours can no longer change, and export them to CSV or Excel using your payroll provider's concept codes. Units are exported, not amounts: your payroll software applies the rates. Included in the Professional and Business plans.

Planixia includes prebuilt ERP integrations with market solutions (such as SAP Business One, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Odoo, Holded, QuickBooks, and Dolibarr). Currently, these integrations are focused on importing job costs. We are expanding their scope in future updates.
